News of Club Presidency from Seaford Tigers Committee

20/11/2017

Monday 20th November 2017

To STCC Members,

Last month the club received a letter of resignation from our club President, Steve Brooking. Unfortunately, Steve could no longer commit to the role and thought it was in the best interest for himself and the club to step aside.

Steve has been club President for over 8 seasons taking over the role midway through the 2009/10 season. Since then, Steve has become the clubs longest serving President with countless hours of hard work, commitment and dedication given to our club.

Under Steve’s Presidency the club has achieved countless success on field and off field. Premierships have been won in senior and junior grades along with the club moving from our old home at Norm Cathie to the Davey Richardson Pavilion at Belvedere. The club will be forever grateful for the efforts Steve has provided over the years.

The committee have thanked Steve for all his services provided to the club over many seasons wishing him all the best in his future endeavourers.

For the remainder of the season Jason Watters will take over as club President. Jason has served as Senior Vice President over the past 2 seasons along with being a club Life Member. Jason has also served the club for many years as a junior coach and committee member. Jason will fulfil the role with assistance from the entire committee to ensure a smooth transition into the role. There is plenty of exciting events coming up throughout the remainder of the season and we look forward to all our members being involved.

Best Regards,

STCC Committee
